We stopped in for a coffee after a long day of work and an early dinner at the restaurant attached, and are so glad that we did! So glad, we stopped in again the next morning for breakfast. Walking in, you see a beautifully curated table of books, cards, stickers, puzzles, and a row of thoughtfully curated gifts and souvenirs (without being cheesy). You are greeted with the incredible arouma of fresh espresso and sweets. There are small benches with pillows and tables for your comfort, seating infront of a fireplace, it's the perfect place to start your day! The cafe is clean, well maintained and looks like it is truly cared for by owners and employees alike. The baristas are kind and attentive. We ordered our americanos and cappuccinos and sat down with some treats to share; Oreo cheesecake, decadent brownie and chocolate mousse. The coffees were strong and so tasty and the treats were all so rich and delicious without being painfully sweet! They are quite large portions, so we ate half and saved the rest for later. The next day we had bacon avo scramblers, and the breakfast burritos, and they were made to perfect tion with a wonderful combination of flavours. We had an exceptional experience at Kay's Kafe, and will make it our first stop if and when we ever get to take another trip back!

We went for dessert. Everything looked so scrumptious, I got the chocolate mousse cake, it was so rich it could have served 3 people. My friend had the carrot cake, she loved it. I definitely need to go back and try other options !

This is one of my favorite places to purchase desserts. I have been going to the Gally Hatch for years. I now buy through Kay's. The quality and taste has remained the same over the years as well. I am very particular about my dessert as I do not eat them often so when I do, it has to be worth it. Thank you for your continued commitment to make some of the best treats on the Seacoast.

Great service, espresso and pastries! A friend of mine recommended this cafe and said I should try the Americano with a chocolate croissant . I did and I went back for a second croissant . Both were heated just right. Nice places to sit and relax. Sunday morning funnies were available to peruse. Wifi available. Facemasks required. Parking ???? can be a little tight around the building. Books and jams for sale. You can use iPay/Android pay. Facemasks and hand sanitizer available. I came back the next weekend to try the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Latte with a lemon raspberry scone. Very good! A nice time reading my newspaper. They provide a Portsmouth Herald newspaper. You may have to speak up so the staff can hear you through your facemask and the plexiglass screen at the counter. I recommend a visit.
